We used the students interested in engineering to fix the ceiling fan, with the supervision of an electrical appliance expert to enhance the students’ understanding of electricity in the real world. The fans will be tested on Tuesday to see if they will spin.

MCJSupport Org President and Project Director for DSP Muhammed Chuka Joof, daily supervision to make sure things are done right and encouraging more student and expert engagement for better understanding of carpentry, painting and electrical engineering.  

Ongoing laboratory maintenance, using an expert and working alongside the students of St Johns School for the Deaf. Starting with blocking the holes on the roof to prevent leakage during the raining season, ceiling, windows and then paint. The maintenance will be completed next week. The team has successfully finished the review and alignment as per the national curriculum. It was not an easy process but this is just the beginning and a start of an amazing initiative with these great minds. This will be followed by a stakeholder meeting to finalize on certain modalities.
